About Us
Faith Roots is passionate about providing quality Christian RE in primary schools.
Our primary aim is to train, equip and resource small church teams of volunteers, clergy or children's workers; helping them to engage with the schools in their area through recognised curriculum topics, presented in fun and exciting ways.

What we offer
-
curriculum based
-
fully resourced
-
Christian engagement
-
We are able to provide good solid material - based on 13 years of experience – that can enable churches to better engage with the primary schools in their area;

-
We would fully equip and train church volunteer teams to become confident schools’ workers, providing relevant and time-saving planning and resources;

-
We believe curriculum-based workshops offer support to teachers and opportunities for children to ask questions about faith, religion and everyday life in a safe space.

Personal Bio
-
I am a Lay Licensed Minister in Derby Diocese of the Church of England.
-
I hold a Diploma of Higher Education in Theology, Ministry & Mission.
-
I’ve been working in schools for the last 13 years with a small Derby-based charity.
-
And I’m the Parish Safeguarding Officer at a large city-centre church, where we volunteer-staff a wide variety of Sunday and Midweek ministries for both adults and children.
But mostly I’m a teacher, facilitator and encourager at heart: I love to learn... and then pass on whatever knowledge, experience or skill I’ve picked up along the way!
